Concrete Cutting and Drilling with Diamond Tools


Using the hardness of the diamond, the Shibuya Dymodrill cuts the concrete; thus, in contrast to destructive methods that make use of vibration and impact, the Dymodrill produces no noise, vibration, or dust.

Since its cutting and drilling accuracy is high, the Dymodrill is suitable for wall-opening construction, by which concrete is cut from an existing wall to make room for a door or window; and drilling construction, by which a through-hole is drilled through an existing concrete pipe.

And since the diamond tool produces an extremely smooth working plane, removal and disposal of the cut concrete can be done safely and easily. Furthermore, follow-up application of construction materials and piping materials to opening and drill-hole surfaces can be safely accomplished. For these reasons, diamond tools are widely used during concrete structure dismantling, removal, reconstruction, and repair.
